Can't Win 'Em All

Hello everyone! Also sorry I forgot to write my email last week but we got a friend, Charles, and his fiance to church which makes it my first ever friend to church! It was hype and a very good service too. We call him Chuck Nasty(for all my Rockies fans out there), and he said he wants to convert but its hard for him to commit right now. The whole situations a mess honestly and he's got legal issues were waiting on so just pray for him yall. This week though was a tough week for our companionship and our zone. It's the last week of the transfer though and we're all pushing forward with faith. I still feel tons of potential in the Victor Falls ward and I'm very excited and hoping to stay another transfer here. We had our mission president at our church this Sunday and Elder Narayan and I were giving a lesson to the ward on member missionary work, so it was perfect having him there to help. President and Sister Beardall, let me tell you, are some of the greatest people

What's cooking my good lookings? This week went well and the dirty work has brought results. There's so much potential in Victor Falls right now and I can feel it. I'm excited for the future here and am confident there's something big around the corner. Many new friends and lessons this past week. Everything went pretty smoothly. Don't really have much else to talk about like always and I like keeping these short because let's be honest yall wouldn't read it all if it was longer. Got nothing else so I'll share a cool quote from Elder Bednar. "As you and I come to understand and employ the enabling power of the atonement in our personal lives, we will pray and seek for strength to change our circumstances rather than praying for our circumstances to be changed" -Elder Bednar (In the Strength of the Lord) Its easier to understand how to use the redeeming power of the atonement of Christ than it is to use the enabling power of the atonement in o

What is going on everyone? This week was just alright like last haha. But still loving the new area. We taught a ton of lessons this week but only have like two friends/investigators who are really progressing or have lots of potential. So, we've been tracting a ton recently and it's a good thing my companion and I both like tracting because we're going all out next week. I love tracting in this certain neighborhood here, it's kinda trashy and the door you knock the people are either super nice and can talk forever and you have interesting conversations, or they cuss you off their property. Either way to me it's a funny result. This week I also crossed paths with a lot insults or "anti" about our Church. On the mission never have I had my testimony doubted and strengthened more in my life. So, like always I'll keep it short and end with my short and quick personal witness of this church, that I know without a doubt this Church is Jesus Christ's N

Rhododendron Dreams

Hey everybody! I hope everyone had a good new year. Victor Falls has been pretty cool so far. The members love to drop off food and feed us. It's a cool little country area and it's WAY more elect than my last area. Everyone's so nice to us and we already get tons more lessons in with friends/investigators. Nothing super special really happened this week. A member kept making fun of me for being from Colorado and a broncos fan but I'm not gonna lie it was pretty funny. Oh and another thing we got quarantined for 10 days. A fanily we visited all got it so we got to go into hiding. We'll see how it goes I'm thinking 10 days for 10,000 push ups. Anyways not much else to talk about, my companions name is Elder Narayan and he's pretty cool. We get along well. I wanted to add a quick scripture from this pretty cool book called the Bible. Acts 5:41-42 And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for h
