A Rose Out of Concrete

 What is going on everyone? This week was just alright like last haha. But still loving the new area. We taught a ton of lessons this week but only have like two friends/investigators who are really progressing or have lots of potential. So, we've been tracting a ton recently and it's a good thing my companion and I both like tracting because we're going all out next week. I love tracting in this certain neighborhood here, it's kinda trashy and the door you knock the people are either super nice and can talk forever and you have interesting conversations, or they cuss you off their property. Either way to me it's a funny result. This week I also crossed paths with a lot insults or "anti" about our Church. On the mission never have I had my testimony doubted and strengthened more in my life. So, like always I'll keep it short and end with my short and quick personal witness of this church, that I know without a doubt this Church is Jesus Christ's New Testament Church. He still leads it TODAY! Through our Prophet, President Nelson. It was restored to the Earth, along with the priesthood, by a man with tons of shade on his name Joseph Smith. This Church blesses and does good for millions of people around the world and I've seen it first hand in mine own home growing up. If this Church wasn't true it wouldn't have grown from 6 people in a log cabin facing immense persecution and mobs to 16 million members and one of the fastest growing churches in the world. This is God's church and as much as the adversary and Satan(Horns Down by the way) can try to tear it down, it will always stand! I know this to be true, from the only being that knows all truth, our Heavenly Father, through the holy spirit. I love yall so much and Jesus does too. Keep your grind up, and your faith in yourself and God up as well. Team Jesus already won. Horns Down.

 I guess it's been a couple weeks that's my bad! There's a lot to catch up on. I'm back with my old companion from Colorado, Elder Votava. YSA or the young single adult congregation has been different but super fun still! We helped our friend Cadence make a covenant with God and be baptized! That was awesome and shes super chill and even with a crazy living situation decided to be baptized, because she said she knew it was true and couldn't deny it. We're planning to go to the temple with her this week! So it's been good, you get to meet some super awesome people in the ward. We've been grinding it out. It's nice being in Kent and the weather being warm. We just contact people for days, and it's a ton of fun. You get to meet some great people and make a lot of friends. It's great just talking to people about their lives and hobbies and transitioning that to Jesus Christ and being able to bear testimony of Him as our Savior. Our mission presid...

Oh...My...Goodness!

 Sorry everyone I realize I haven't sent an email in like 3 weeks. And a lot has changed. I got the good ol 6 weeks and out in Kent and am now in Auburn, in the Mill Pond Ward and am training again. I had a great time in Kent in the Pine Tree ward with Elder Wilson but sadly the dynasty has come to an end. Which is unfortunate because we just swiped our teaching pool and had like 3  people who were now ready to be baptized so I won't be able to see them make their first covenant with God but I'm glad I was able to help them with it. But I've been in Auburn for 2 weeks and just wow. This place is amazing. Elder Thompson is my new greenies name and he's got some fire to his 6'5" frame. He's very ready for missionary work. We're opening this ward together because it was being double covered the last 12 weeks by Elders who also covered a Spanish area. So they said they put a lot more focus on their Spanish work. Mama... There Goes That Man

  What's going on everyone? Hope y'all been doing well. This was probably one of my favorite weeks of the mission so far. Just filled with miracle after miracle from the hands of the Lord. Our friend Alan was baptized this week and his family will soon follow as well. We also have so many new people just from this week who were planning to help grow their faith and be baptized as well. We've recently started exercising more faith in getting members involved in missionary work and it's been great to see. It's amazing to see the power that faith can work. Two Sundays ago I had the privilege to give a talk in church about faith and shared this quote from President Eldon Tanner  "In addition to a belief in the existence of God, we must know something of his character and attributes or our faith will be imperfect and unfruitful.
