Rhododendron Dreams

 Hey everybody! I hope everyone had a good new year. Victor Falls has been pretty cool so far. The members love to drop off food and feed us. It's a cool little country area and it's WAY more elect than my last area. Everyone's so nice to us and we already get tons more lessons in with friends/investigators. Nothing super special really happened this week. A member kept making fun of me for being from Colorado and a broncos fan but I'm not gonna lie it was pretty funny. Oh and another thing we got quarantined for 10 days. A fanily we visited all got it so we got to go into hiding. We'll see how it goes I'm thinking 10 days for 10,000 push ups. Anyways not much else to talk about, my companions name is Elder Narayan and he's pretty cool. We get along well. I wanted to add a quick scripture from this pretty cool book called the Bible. Acts 5:41-42 And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name. And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

In this past week I've had a lot of people be super nice and pull over to offer us hot chocolate. I've also had some people cuss me out and yell at me. My last area also was not receptive at all which I didn't realize until this new area. But, everyday is a blessing to represent Jesus Christ and share his gospel and his word with everyone. I am grateful to be his missionary and worthy to suffer shame for his name and I will not cease to preach his word. I'm not sacrificing two years of my life to jack around and come back with something checked of a list. I'm here because what I'm preaching is true and it has truly blessed my life and I would be almost selfish to not share it others and help them progress towards eternal life with our father in heaven. Anyways love yall. Keep whatever grind you got going on its worth it. Have faith. 10 for 10,000. Horns down. Jesus Loves you

Mariners and Coaching time

 I guess it's been a couple weeks that's my bad! There's a lot to catch up on. I'm back with my old companion from Colorado, Elder Votava. YSA or the young single adult congregation has been different but super fun still! We helped our friend Cadence make a covenant with God and be baptized! That was awesome and shes super chill and even with a crazy living situation decided to be baptized, because she said she knew it was true and couldn't deny it. We're planning to go to the temple with her this week! So it's been good, you get to meet some super awesome people in the ward. We've been grinding it out. It's nice being in Kent and the weather being warm. We just contact people for days, and it's a ton of fun. You get to meet some great people and make a lot of friends. It's great just talking to people about their lives and hobbies and transitioning that to Jesus Christ and being able to bear testimony of Him as our Savior. Our mission presid...

Oh...My...Goodness!

 Sorry everyone I realize I haven't sent an email in like 3 weeks. And a lot has changed. I got the good ol 6 weeks and out in Kent and am now in Auburn, in the Mill Pond Ward and am training again. I had a great time in Kent in the Pine Tree ward with Elder Wilson but sadly the dynasty has come to an end. Which is unfortunate because we just swiped our teaching pool and had like 3  people who were now ready to be baptized so I won't be able to see them make their first covenant with God but I'm glad I was able to help them with it. But I've been in Auburn for 2 weeks and just wow. This place is amazing. Elder Thompson is my new greenies name and he's got some fire to his 6'5" frame. He's very ready for missionary work. We're opening this ward together because it was being double covered the last 12 weeks by Elders who also covered a Spanish area. So they said they put a lot more focus on their Spanish work. Mama... There Goes That Man

  What's going on everyone? Hope y'all been doing well. This was probably one of my favorite weeks of the mission so far. Just filled with miracle after miracle from the hands of the Lord. Our friend Alan was baptized this week and his family will soon follow as well. We also have so many new people just from this week who were planning to help grow their faith and be baptized as well. We've recently started exercising more faith in getting members involved in missionary work and it's been great to see. It's amazing to see the power that faith can work. Two Sundays ago I had the privilege to give a talk in church about faith and shared this quote from President Eldon Tanner  "In addition to a belief in the existence of God, we must know something of his character and attributes or our faith will be imperfect and unfruitful.
