Be Clutch

 What's up everyone? Hope it's been great for yall. I'm still rolling Tide in Kent! Elder Lee is still my companion and we're actually training a new elder, Elder Arrington. He's a baller us three get along well. It's been hot lately but can't complain because it's either hot or rainy and cloudy. It's definitely very beautiful when it's sunny too so it's great. Our friend Victor got baptized as well two weeks ago which was hype! He's been awesome! What a journey for him, he originally met with missionaries to learn English in Romania where he's from and now he's finally accepting the restored gospel of Christ here. You truly never know the good that you do. We've seen some amazing miracles happen as we focus on being more spirit led in our work. This last Saturday night, we had multiple plans fall through and our 6:30pm to 9 was "wide open spaces"- Dixie Chick's. So we turned to our greenie who spotted a complex on our map that we never go to because there's rarely young single adults there. We visited 1 person who used to be taught there, and they didn't answer so we took a lap around the complex to try and talk to anyone new. We finally at the very end found Charlene, who's an amazing lady from Lousiana. Her brother had just been killed and she was having a bad day. She recognized God had sent us there to comfort her and help her feel His love. We had a wonderful discussion about the Atonement of Jesus Christ and life after death. More miracles were showered that night and it was amazing to see. I've been striving to have no more disposition to do evil in my life. It's my current goal before I end my mission. It's been hard but as I've improved I truly have been able to see the beauty and God's love in all things. I'm doing great and trying my best. Love everyone here. God bless and God bless America.   Howdy howdy everyone. Its been a crazy couple weeks here in Auburn. This last week alone we had 4 people commit to a baptismal date. We've been receiving miracle after miracle from the Lord. And this is most healthy I've been in my life. I've eaten more salad these last 3 weeks alone than I have in my life. And I've been going 3 months strong on a soda fast and just started up a fast food fast. Yes, I know the old Elder Plumb is gone but never forgotten. Anyways with one our friends were teaching named Anthony, has truly, truly changed through Jesus Christ. I have literally seen him in the very lows of the life to no longer heeding ungodliness. He's a stud and is even sharing the gospel with his other friends. The Prophet of God, Russell M. Nelson gave a talk about Overcoming the world. Mama... There Goes That Man

  What's going on everyone? Hope y'all been doing well. This was probably one of my favorite weeks of the mission so far. Just filled with miracle after miracle from the hands of the Lord. Our friend Alan was baptized this week and his family will soon follow as well. We also have so many new people just from this week who were planning to help grow their faith and be baptized as well. We've recently started exercising more faith in getting members involved in missionary work and it's been great to see. It's amazing to see the power that faith can work. Two Sundays ago I had the privilege to give a talk in church about faith and shared this quote from President Eldon Tanner  "In addition to a belief in the existence of God, we must know something of his character and attributes or our faith will be imperfect and unfruitful. I'm Merely the Dark

  Hey yall! It's some good times here in Auburn. Apparently we had the worst air quality in the world at one point this past week because of the smoke from the fires up here. But thankfully it's been raining, but that means the 9 months of no sun is back. This week was also the start of a new transfer and I got a new elder to train again. Elder Thompson got put in Spanish work and my new elder is Elder Butler. Its been a fun first week with him and I'm glad to be staying in the Mill Pond Ward as well. This week, our friend Cormac is planning to get baptized, which is super exciting. Our whole zone has been absolutely popping off right now as well and there's been tons of hype for the work. The Lord's work is moving forward and ain't gonna lie there's been some neat persecution these last couple weeks.
