God Does Bless the USA

What's up? It's been a month since my last email. Starring to see a pattern here. Hope everyone's been great! I got transferred to Seattle Stake. It covers a few big cities Burien, Des Moines, West Seattle, and has the international Airport here so we see planes all the time, kind of cool get some good views of plans flying in and out. I'm in the Alki YSA branch. It's still young single adult. I'm training a 6'7" Elder named Elder Godfrey. He's a Bigfoot. He's been great as well and we get along. We came into the area with no one to teach but we're loaded with miracles. Our friend Shiloh, just Google a church to go and found ours. She has no background with Christianity so start from scratch on who God is and seeing someone come to Him. We also have 2 member referral friends to teach as well. So it's been great. The Branch is super fun. It's 80% Tongan and Samoan and they're a Vibe. It's been great having the opportunity to grind out my last few months in an opened area. I've seen so many miracles so far. We've really been focused on being spirit led and have met so many great people while doing so. I gave a talk this last Sunday in our branch on Luke 22:32 "...and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren." It was great for missionary work, but I was able to reflect on my conversion throughout my mission. Found a quote from President Benson that our mission president quotes a lot. It says "The Lord works from the inside out. The world works from the outside in. The world would take people out of the slums. Christ takes the slums out of people, and then they take themselves out of the slums. The world would mold men by changing their environment. Christ changes men, who then change their environment. The world would shape human behavior, but Christ can change human nature."

I've really thought of myself and my discipleship in many different categories as to whether my behavior has changed from just being a missionary, or if my nature has changed as I've come to know Christ. Helped me set some new goals for myself and how I want to end my mission. I know I have changed my nature through Christ. He's made me a better disciple and instrument for fulfilling my purpose as a missionary. I strive to continue to change and improve myself and be more concerted to strengthen my brethren. God bless all! Love yall and keep grinding. Horns Down
