Roll Tide Time

Image
What's good? It was a Roll Tide week this week. We played ultimate Frisbee for a district activity. I ain't gonna lie I'm definitely am not in the best shape of my life right now. Need to get some more cardio in for sure. Also my shot is broke right now, we aren't allowed to play pickup basketball currently and it's been a long time since I've played so it took awhile to knock off some rust on my shot. Our friends Sabrina and Luis are great peeps. Keep them in your prayers, Sabrina has come to know the Book of Mormons true but she's agoraphobic and is afraid of church. She's growing more and more courage so don't worry. Transfers are next week so this could be my last week in Victor Falls. Definitely gonna try and leave all I can on the sacrificial altar this week. It's a blood sweat and tears game minus the tears so far, but the blood for sure. Everyday is a battle no doubt. A battle verse evil, temptation, and the adversary. Not just for me o

Crunch Time

How's it going? Twas a good week. There's two more weeks left in this transfer and I'll most likely be transferred out sadly. It's crunch time here in Victor Falls ward.  Struggled to get in contact with a lot of people but we did have one of our friends the new Luis come to church with us. He really enjoyed the Easter program and said he would love to come next week and in the future. It was a great Easter weekend. Easter is a great holiday to remember our savior and Redeemer Jesus christ. He overcame death through the resurrection and His sacrifice allows us to return to live with our Father in Heaven again someday. Every single person will too be resurrected again and have their bodies perfected. How beautiful this message is and also being able live together with our families further than the good ol til death do us part. Through Christ we can live with our Father again in perfected resurrected bodies and live with our families forever for eternity. The reason for

How's it rolling? Everything's going great out here in Bonney Lake. Punches are being thrown by the adversary currently. We have lost two friends, one passed away and another went to prison. Also an inactive member, who we've been helping out, his wife passed away as well. But that's strike 3. My companion elder Char and I are both just so pumped to do work right now. There's only so much we can control up here in Seattle so we're doing all that we can. We invited one of our friends to be baptized in which he kind of said yes but wants more time to strengthen his faith. I finally turned 19 years young this week as well. Also I don't think I ever mentioned this but one of our family friends is currently serving with me in Enumclaw area, Elder Jacob Murray. We went to high school together and we've always been close fanily friends so it's been kinda hype. Not much else besides that. Be dilligent. Jesus Loves you. Horns down. And keep grinding let'

Hello everyone! This week was pretty good. We got to go to the temple this week as a mission and it was general conference this weekend as well. Definitely a good week for revelation and it really has me pumped for the these next couple weeks as well. I have reflected a lot recently on how I can better help my friends get to baptism and it's all kind of hit me now. I'm excited just straight ecstatic to go feed some SHEEP right now! If you know you know haha. It's a great time, century, decade, year, month, week, and day to be doing what I'm doing right now. It's a critical time to serve and I'm grateful for mine and others decisions to serve the Lord right now. Anyways besides that nothing new happened, except catching some nice 10 pound trouts last p-day. Love yall though. Keep pounding, trudging, and grinding! Jesus loves you. Horns Down  Kia Kaha

How's it going? This week was great because transfers were last Monday and I'm staying in Victor Falls for another 6 weeks. I'm super excited about that and to be here until May where I can finally see some more sun and mount Rainier. We saw some pretty daggum good miracles this week. One of them is a NEW Luis. Not the old one but one who seriously just randomly showed up as a person in our area Book records a couple weeks ago. He wasn't a referral or anything but we went and visited thinking we just had to have forgotten him or something, but we got there and Luis let us right in and we got to know him and teach him. A couple weeks ago we also did some service for a guy and his family, who lived across the street from a member family. And this week we saw them walking into church unexpectedly, which was super hype. Anyways the week was good and Elder Char and I are still grinding it out in Victor Falls. Still tons of potential here that we feel like we're just on

How's it going? This week was quality. Not much really happened, there was zone conference and we invited our friend Ava to be baptized. I don't remember if I said this already but Ava is 17 and is one our ward members sons girlfriend. We just recently started teaching her and asked her to be baptized, which she said she wanted to talk to her parents about before making a decision. Our main focus right now is to make sure she is growing her testimony and faith mainly in our savior Jesus christ and his atonement and not solely in the Church, so she is being baptized for the right reasons and not for her boyfriend or others. She's awesome though and has a true desire to seek the truth. The members have been helping us a ton out here too ever since we started the new teams idea from our mission president. Everything's rolling along out her in Bonney Lake, WA and my companion and I are feeling like we're  firing on all cylinders with all the miracles and successes rec

Howl it up

Hello everybody! This week was weird. I had to drive a biking elder, from the very bottom of our mission all the way to the top for a doctors appointment. It was a fun road trip I guess. We've been teaching a friend named Ava who will be on date most likely by my next email. Her boyfriend is in our ward/congregation and she's been around their family a lot and loves the Church, just wants to know more on it. She said she had a dream about being baptized but her parents couldn't come watch it. We obviously told her parents will definitely be able to come but my companion and I immediately just knew she was ready. We wanted her to pray on the Book of Mormon first though to receive her own witness of it. Other than that our friend Luis has been at a slight stand still the last three weeks. He's a workaholic right now so he hasn't been keeping commitments, but he said his work should be slowing down soon. Our friend Charles as well who we haven't been able to teac
